2021 Grassy Mountain Festival, “Thelma & Louise at the End Ready to____”
After two years, I’ve come back again. This time I combine my work with the graduation week to recreate the memories belonging to the graduates and Caoshan (Grassy Mountain). The term “Ready to___” was coined in the 1991 American movie“Thelma & Louise’’. In the framework of society, they often unconsciously ignore their own autonomy, or they fear expressing themselves, which limits their own thoughts and possibilities. This time, we are brave together.

Concept: In the classic scenes of «Thelma & Louise» movie, the heroines rushed to the canyon without fear is what inspired this visual idea. I want to give the graduates and the protagonists the same spirit of not fearing the future and having the courage to challenge. The three colors (pink, blue, and rice color) are selected as the main colors to reflect the ultimate concept of “Let's keep going ‘The End of the Wild Flower.‘’ And the lines and green embellishments of auxiliary visuals are added to bring out the lively youth of the Grassy Mountain season!

Logotype Inspiration: “Thelma & Louise” translates to 末路狂花 in Chinese. This time, the logotype is presented in a handwritten style, showing a sense of youthful recklessness.


This is my second time to be the head visual designer for a large-scale event. I cooperate with the school’s Students Graduation Service Committee. This event is mainly for graduates. The content of the event includes concerts and bazaars. I am in charge of stage, market sign, campus canvas, peripheral product, poster, invitation card, activity clothing design, and work permits.
